Pals for the Park: 5K Fun Run on the Farm
Are you farm tough and ready to run? Then join us for a family fun-run taking place on the back-forty of Bass Family Farms property! Proceeds will benefit Friends of Palisades-Kepler State Park for park improvements in 2026. This event is rain or shine, so please plan accordingly!
Since 2022 The Friends have spent $15,356 to improve Palisades-Kepler and support the local economy:
- $10,203 on park projects ranging from trail repairs to frost free pumps in the campground
- $5,153 was spent locally on marketing, food for first day hike, and office supplies
- $7,444 was spent locally when project supplies such as lumber and hardware
Our goal is to raise money to fund Palisades-Kepler State Park 2026 projects (to be announced!). Thank you for supporting our efforts by registering to run, donating, volunteering, or a combination of these efforts!
*Packet pickup will be the day of the race, April 25th at Bass Family Farms.
*Must register before April 9th to guarantee a shirt.
*Dogs allowed on farm property but not on 5k route.
